Politics and Religion //
Politics and religion are the hot button issues. Katherine tells us about her global quest to find a religion until she finally came to Christianity because of seeing the Mark of the Beast coming to pass. Katherine explains why she thinks Christianity is different from the other religions. Thanks for the calls from Jim (Seattle), Lamon (Miami) and Susan (Austin).

Ecclesiastes - Chapter 7
★Mark Monmonier // Maps //
"If I'm hoarse, Mark, it's because I laughed through that entire break and could not stop laughing. So I hope I can keep it together long enough to bring you back up on the air. You are one funny guy!" - Katherine at 41:23
A show not to be missed! Mapmaking guru and expert Mark Monmonier joins Katherine to discuss a fascinating array of geographical and cartographic oddities. Katherine has difficulty controlling her laughter (tears streaming down her face) in the last segment after reading this passage from Mark's website:
"I was interviewed by Syracuse Post-Standard writer William LaRue, who covers the local book scene. The story ran in the Sunday, September 16 edition, a day after the Press’s official release date. Though a nice piece, it was marred by an accompanying photo in which I looked as if my glass eye were about to fall out. (No, I don’t have a glass eye, but apparently I can fake it by trying very hard not to blink.)"
Mark's dry wit and the accompanying picture left Katherine in stitches.
Who would have expected this from a discussion of maps and mapping? It turned out to be an utterly fascinating hour.
